FIRST TIME REGISTRATION

I have opened an account at an alrajhi bank Malaysia Branch. How do I register for a new alrajhi@24seven Online Banking account?

Step 1: Download the alrajhi@24seven mobile banking application from the authorized Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Alternatively, you can launch the https://www.alrajhi24seven.com.my website on your desktop browser or mobile phone browser.
Step 2: At the mobile application or website, select "Not Signed Up Yet? Register Now".
Step 3: Enter your 16-digit Debit Card Number, PIN and the captcha.
Step 4: Key in your email address.
Step 5: Click or tap on "Next" to proceed.
Step 6: Key in your Username and Password.
Step 7: Click or tap "Next". You have successfully registered for alrajhi@24seven .

*Please note: For enhanced security, upon registering for alrajhi@24seven, a 12-hour Cooling-Off Period will be in place.

What is the minimum Operating System (OS) version for the alrajhi@24seven mobile banking application to run?

For iOS, the minimum requirement for the application to run is iOS 12.0.

For Android, the minimum requirement for the application to run is Android 8.0.

*Please note: Effective 1 May 2024, our alrajhi@24seven app will require a minimum operating system (OS) version of Android 11 or iOS 15 (or above) for optimal performance.

DIGITAL ACCOUNT OPENING VIA eKYC

I do not have an alrajhi bank Malaysia account yet. Can I still open a new alrajhi@24seven Online Banking account? What are the eligibility requirements?

  • Customer is new to alrajhi bank Malaysia's product and services.
  • Customer is at least 18 years old.
  • Customer is a Malaysian Citizen (New Blue MyKad 80K chip).
  • Born and resides in Malaysia.
  • Customer is a Malaysia taxpayer.
  • Has a valid Malaysian Mobile Number (+60).

How do I open an account with alrajhi bank Malaysia via alrajhi@24seven?

You will need to download the alrajhi@24seven mobile banking application from the authorized Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

What are the steps to open a new savings account via alrajhi@24seven?

Please follow the 5 simple steps below:-

Scan a copy of your MyKad (both front and back).

Capture a short video selfie for facial verification and liveness detection.

Fill in your personal details.

Perform a credit transfer (with your account from other bank) after the account is opened.

Your Visa Debit Card-i will be sent by post. Then activate your debit card to enjoy banking on the go.

What do I do if I forgot my alrajhi@24seven User ID that was created during the account opening process?

Step 1: Launch the alrajhi@24seven application and on the top left, you will see the menu icon.
Step 2: Tap the menu icon and it will display a list of different options.
Step 3: Tap "Forget Your User ID?".
Step 4: Key in your Debit Card number, PIN, and captcha code.
Step 5: Tap "Next". Then, your User ID will be displayed on the screen.

What do I do if I forgot my alrajhi@24seven Password that was created during the account opening process?

Step 1: Tap the menu icon and it will display a list of different options.
Step 2: Tap "Reset Password".
Step 3: Key in your Debit Card number, PIN, and captcha code.
Step 4: Key in your new password at the "Password" and "Re-confirm Password" fields.
Step 5: Tap "Submit" and you will then see a confirmation screen which says that your password has been successfully changed.
Step 6: Log in with your new password.

How do I activate my account?

To activate your account, you will be requested to make an initial deposit of RM20 to your new alrajhi bank Malaysia Account Number via DuitNow To Account (previously known as Instant Bank Transfer) and IBG from your other registered bank account under your name.

What do I do upon receiving my alrajhi bank Malaysia Debit Card-i?

Follow the instructions provided along with your new alrajhi bank Malaysia card to activate your card.

You can set your Debit Card-i PIN, update your Card Limit and International Usage of Card flag by using a web browser or your alrajhi@24seven mobile application.

What should I do if my alrajhi bank Malaysia Debit Card-i is missing or stolen?

Log into alrajhi@24seven immediately and block your Debit Card-i. Alternatively, you can contact our Customer Support at 0323326000 or visit our nearest branch within your vicinity to block your Debit Card-i. You can request for a card replacement at our branches.

MOBILE BANKING APPLICATION & BROWSERS

What is the difference between the desktop version and mobile application version of alrajhi@24seven?

The mobile application is an abridged version of the desktop that provides quick access and feasibility to users on the most regularly used services.

Why must I clear the cache on my devices each time?

These caches of data are essentially just junk files, and they can be safely deleted to free up storage space and to enable better application performance.

How do I clear my cache for my browsers?

    • Step 2: Hover over "More tools" and click "Clear browsing data".
    • Step 3: Set the "Time Range" to "All Time".
    • Step 4: Select the "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files" checkboxes and click "Clear Data".
  • Microsoft Edge (replacing Internet Explorer)
    • Step 1: Click the "Tools menu" (three dotted lines in the upper-right corner of the browser).

    • Step 4: At the "Clear browsing data" section, click "Choose what to clear".

    Yes, you will need to disable pop-up blockers on your browser.

    LOGIN

    What is my alrajhi@24seven User ID?

    The alrajhi@24seven User ID is your Username which you created during the Onboarding process or when you created your account for alrajhi@24seven.

    What is a SecureWord?

    SecureWord is an additional security credential used to identify you before you log into alrajhi@24seven. Your Secureword is not your alrajhi@24seven password.

    I received an error message that my User ID is locked when I tried to log in. What do I do?

    This may be due to our 90-day Auto-Lock policy, whereby when a user has not logged in for three (3) months from the last login date, the User ID will be auto-locked. You will have to reset your password to regain your online access and to log into your account.

    ACCOUNTS-i PORTFOLIO

    How do I view my alrajhi bank Malaysia accounts-i portfolio online?

    At the alrajhi@24seven website, log in with your User ID and password. Your account portfolio will display at "My Dashboard".

    eSTATEMENT, RECEIPTS & TRANSACTION HISTORY

    What is an eStatement?

    An eStatement is a PDF version of your monthly account statement. You can download and view your statements at alrajhi@24seven.

    Do I need to pay for the eStatements?

    No. It is a complimentary service.

    How do I view and download my eStatements?

    You can download your eStatements from alrajhi@24seven through these steps:
    Step 1: Click or tap on the menu icon after logging in.
    Step 2: Click or tap on the "Accounts-i " option.
    Step 3: Select the relevant account and click or tap on "View / Download Statement".
    Step 4: Select the month of your choice from the "Select month" dropdown menu.
    Step 5: Click or tap on the "PDF icon" to download the eStatement.

    How do I send my eStatements to my email address?

    You can subscribe to the eStatement delivery on alrajhi@24seven through these steps:
    Step 1: Click or tap on the menu icon after logging in.
    Step 2: Click or tap on the "Accounts-i " option.
    Step 3: Select the relevant account and click or tap on "Email eStatement Enrolment".
    Step 4: Click or tap on "Subscribe" at the "Your new enrolment" field.
    Step 5: Key in your email address at the "eStatement Email Address" field.
    Step 6: Click or Tap on "Next".
    Step 7: Tap the "Approve" button upon receiving the push notification on your mobile application or enter the SMS OTP sent to your registered mobile number with the Bank.

    Can I unsubscribe to stop receiving eStatements?

    Yes, you may do so at alrajhi@24seven.
    Step 1: Click or tap on the menu icon after logging in.
    Step 2: Click or tap on the "Accounts-i " option.
    Step 3: Select the relevant account and click or tap on "Email eStatement Enrolment".
    Step 4: Click or tap on "Unsubscribe" at the "Your new enrolment" field.
    Step 5: Click or Tap on "Next".
    Step 6: Tap the "Approve" button upon receiving the push notification on your mobile application or enter the SMS OTP sent to your registered mobile number with the Bank.

    Can I reprint / redownload my alrajhi@24seven transactions receipts?

    Yes, you can.
    Step 1: Click or tap on the menu icon after logging in.
    Step 2: Click or tap on the "Accounts-i " option.
    Step 3: Select the relevant account and click or tap on "alrajhi@24seven Transactions".
    Step 4: Select your date range and reprint/redownload your transaction receipts by clicking or tapping on "Show".
    Step 5: Click or tap on "Download" to download your receipt.

    Where can I view my account statement and transaction history?

    Step 1: Click or tap on the menu icon after logging in.
    Step 2: Click or tap on the "Accounts-i " option.
    Step 3: Select the relevant account and click or tap on "View Transaction History".
    Step 4: Select the transaction history date range at the "Statement Type" field and specify your date range or month range.
    Step 5: Click or tap on "Show".

    One Time Password (OTP)

    What is a One Time Password (OTP)?

    One Time Password (OTP) is a randomly generated code sent to your registered mobile number or devices to approve your online/mobile banking transactions and activities. This is only applicable for customers who are unable to register for Secure@24seven.

    Can I reuse the OTP?

    No. The OTP is only valid for one-time use.

    What happens if I entered the wrong OTP?

    An error message will pop-up. You may choose to re-enter the correct OTP, or you can click on "RESEND OTP" to receive a new code after the code expires.

    How long is the OTP valid for?

    Each OTP is valid for 2 minutes.

    What should I do if I need to update my mobile phone number?

    You can update your mobile number at the nearest alrajhi bank Malaysia branch during branch banking hours.

    What should I do if I did not receive the OTP?

    You can click on "RESEND OTP" to receive another code after the initial one expires.

    alrajhi@24seven KILL SWITCH

    What is Kill Switch?

    The alrajhi@24seven Kill Switch is a self-service security feature that lets you immediately deactivate access to your alrajhi@24seven ID via the alrajhi@24seven website or mobile application if you suspect that your alrajhi@24seven account has been compromised or if you detect any unusual or suspicious transactions.

    When do you need to activate the Kill Switch?

    If you suspect that you've been scammed, you can immediately stop the access to alrajhi@24seven by activating the "Kill Switch". This can prevent further unauthorised transactions as scammers will not be able to access your alrajhi@24seven account. By activating this function, you will no longer able to access your alrajhi@24seven account.

    How do I activate the Kill Switch?

    There are 2 ways to activate the Kill Switch.
    Activate Kill Switch via alrajhi@24seven mobile application
    Step 1: Launch the alrajhi@24seven mobile application.
    Step 2: Navigate to "Settings" and tap "Deactivate User ID".
    Step 3: Read the terms and if you want to proceed, tap "Proceed".
    Step 4: Tap the "Approve" or "Reject" button to proceed. After tapping "Approve", you will be logged out automatically and no one can access your alrajhi@24seven account.

    Activate Kill Switch via alrajhi@24seven website
    Step 1: Launch the alrajhi@24seven website.
    Step 2: Click "Settings" and click "Deactivate User ID".
    Step 3: Read the terms and if you want to proceed, click "Next".
    Step 4: Click the "Approve" or "Reject" button upon receiving the push notification on your mobile application or enter the SMS OTP sent to your registered mobile number with the Bank. You will be logged out automatically after approving the request and no one will be able to access your alrajhi@24seven account.
    If you would like to reactivate your User ID, kindly contact our Customer Support at 0323326000 for assistance. For security purposes, all customers will be required to complete a strict identity verification process to proceed with the User ID reactivation.

    If I have standing instructions and/or future-dated transactions, will the funds still be transferred on the effective date?

    Yes. If you have any standing instructions and/or future-dated transactions, the transfers will still be executed on the effective date.

    If I have a debit card, will I still be able to use it?

    Yes. You will still be able to use your debit card for withdrawals, purchasing, or online transactions.

    Can I use DuitNow QR for payment transactions if I activated the Kill Switch?

    No. You will no longer be able to use DuitNow QR for any payment transactions.

    Can I still receive any incoming transfers made via DuitNow QR to my account?

    Yes. You can still receive any incoming transfers made to your account. Your contacts will still be able to scan your unique DuitNow QR Code to transfer funds to you.

    COOLING-OFF PERIOD

    What is Cooling-Off Period?

    A Cooling-Off Period is an added security measure which prevents anyone from logging into your alrajhi@24seven account for a temporary time. The 12-hour Cooling-Off Period is aimed at preventing unauthorised access and transactions.

    The 12-hour Cooling-Off Period is enforced during the following scenarios:
  • Your first-time login to alrajhi@24seven after your successful registration via eKYC or via debit card registration.
  • Your first-time login to the alrajhi@24seven mobile application where you registered for Secure@24seven.
  • When you obtained a new mobile device and installed alrajhi@24seven on that new mobile device (known as 'device switch') and performed the device switch after logging in.

  • What should I do if I urgently need to access alrajhi@24seven after my account has been successfully activated for the first time or after switching mobile devices?

    If you urgently need to access alrajhi@24seven, please contact our Customer Support at 0323326000.

    If I switched mobile devices and the Cooling-Off Period is in effect, will my standing instructions/future-dated transactions still be active and executed on the effective dates?

    Yes. All standing instructions/future-dated transactions will remain active and will be executed on the effective dates.

    JOMPAY

    What is JomPAY?

    JomPAY is a free National Bill Payment Scheme that allows customers to pay bills conveniently and securely via Internet & Mobile Banking.

    Pay using your Current, Savings or Credit Card accounts at your convenience with no hidden cost. Just look for the JomPAY logo and Biller Code on your bill and log into alrajhi@24seven to use JomPAY.

    How do I make payment to JomPAY billers via alrajhi@24seven?

    Step 1: Log into alrajhi@24seven.
    Step 2: Click or tap on the menu icon.
    Step 3: Click or tap on "Payments & Transfers".
    Step 4: Click or tap on "Pay New Biller" or "Pay Multiple Billers" or "Pay Favourite Billers".
    Step 5: Enter the "Biller Code" key in "Ref 1" and/or "Ref 2" (if any) which appears in your bill and key in the "Amount" to proceed with payment by clicking or tapping on "Next".
    Step 6: To confirm the payment, you will receive a push notification to Approve/Reject or enter the SMS OTP number sent to your registered mobile phone to complete the payment.
    Step 7: View and download your receipt.

    ⓘ Tip! Save this biller as a favourite Biller and the OTP or approval is no longer needed every time you make a payment to that specific biller.

    What is Biller Code, Ref-1 and Ref-2?

    A Biller Code is a unique number to identify a JomPAY Biller. Ref-1 is a unique number used by your Biller to identify your account. Ref-1 could be either fixed or changeable as required by a Biller. In most cases, Ref-1 is fixed.

    For every JomPAY biller, there will be a standard Biller Code (BC) and Recipient Reference Number (Ref-1) printed on all bills.

    If Reference Number (Ref-2) is required, it will also be displayed on the bills.

    What are the types of account-i which I can use to make payments with JomPAY?

    You can make payments through your Current and Savings Accounts.

    FINANCING-i

    What are the services provided in alrajhi@24seven for my financing-i account?

    You are only able to view your financing-i account details.

    Can I perform early settlement requests online?

    No. You will need to visit any alrajhi bank Malaysia branch to request for an early settlement.

    TERM DEPOSIT-i

    What are the services provided in alrajhi@24seven for my Term Deposit-i account?

    • View your Term Deposit-i account details

    Will there be any special rates for my Term Deposit-i placements in alrajhi@24seven compared to placements at alrajhi bank Malaysia branches?

    Yes, but this is subject to the promotional profit rates given by the Bank.

    What is the minimum placement for Term Deposit-i amounts in alrajhi@24seven?

    The minimum amount is RM500 for three (3) months tenures. For tenures less than three (3) months, the minimum placement amount is RM1,000.

    Can I uplift my Term Deposit-i in alrajhi@24seven?

    Yes, you may uplift Term Deposit-i placed via branches or through alrajhi@24seven. However, there will be no profit payouts for any pre-mature upliftment.

    Can I download/request for my Term Deposit-i deposit advice online?

    No. You may either visit any alrajhi bank Malaysia branch to request for the deposit advice OR you may call our Contact Centre at +60323326000 to request for the deposit advice.

      • Lost Card - You will not be able to view your Debit Card-i after selecting this option as it will be reported to Bank Negara Malaysia as ‘lost’. You can visit any of our alrajhi bank Malaysia branches to request for a new Debit Card-i.
      • Stolen Card - You will not be able to view your Debit Card-i after selecting this option as it will be reported to Bank Negara Malaysia as ’stolen’. You can visit any of our alrajhi bank Malaysia branches to request for a new Debit Card-i.

    All alrajhi@24seven users are strongly encouraged to comply with the guidelines below to create their passwords:

    Password Policies :

    • *Password must be between 8 to 20 characters
    • *Password must not be the same as the User ID
    • *Password must contain a mixture of upper and lower case alphabets, numbers and permitted special characters i.e.: ~!@#$^()_{}:?<>
    • *There is no restriction on repeated characters i.e.: AaaA@A111

    How do I update my email address?

    Click or tap on "Settings" and select "View/Update Personal Information". You may only update your email address. To update your mobile number, you may do so at the nearest alrajhi bank Malaysia branch. The email address will only be used for alrajhi@24seven banking notifications.

    How do I change my Secure Word?

    Click or tap on "Settings" and select "Change Secure Word".
    All alrajhi@24seven users are strongly encouraged to comply with the guidelines below to create their Secure Word:

    • Can be a combination of alphanumerics
    • Can contain spaces
    • Must not contain any special characters

    Can I change my transactions limits?

    Yes. Click or tap on "Settings" and select "Modify Transaction Limits".

    PAYMENTS & TRANSFERS

    What type of Fund Transfers are available in alrajhi@24seven?

    There are 5 types of Transfers:

    • DuitNow (Mobile Number, NRIC, Passport No, Business Registration Number)
    • DuitNow - Instant Transfer (previously known as Instant Bank Transfer)
    • Interbank GIRO (IBG)
    • Within Bank Transfer
    • Own Account Transfer

    For Foreign Currency Transfers, which Transfer mode should I use in alrajhi@24seven?

    You are only able to transfer from your own Malaysian Current / Savings Account to your own Foreign Currency Current Accounts (FCCA) and back. No third party or interbank transfers are allowed for foreign currencies.

    Can I top-up my Foreign Currency Current Accounts (FCCA) in alrajhi@24seven?

    Once you have opened your Foreign Currency Current Accounts (FCCA) at any of our branches, you may top up (buy) your foreign currency accounts in alrajhi@24seven. The exchange rate will be displayed for your convenience and confirmation before proceeding.

    Can I transfer foreign currencies to my own Malaysian Current / Savings Accounts in alrajhi@24seven?

    You can also transfer (sell) foreign currencies back to your own Malaysian Current / Savings account. The exchange rate will be displayed for your convenience and confirmation before proceeding.

    How do I perform a Transfer To / From my Foreign Currency Accounts (FCCA) in alrajhi@24seven?

    Step 1: Navigate to "Payment & Transfer".
    Step 2: Select "Transfer To Accounts".
    Step 3: Select "Own Accounts".
    Step 4: Select your "To Account" and "From Account".
    Step 5: Check the quoted Exchange Rate before proceeding.

    What are the charges for the various Fund Transfers in alrajhi@24seven?

    There are no charges for Within Bank Transfers and Own Account Transfers.

    Yes, you may bring your passport and visa / permit to any alrajhi bank Malaysia branch to update your particulars. However, this is subject to the Bank's approval.

    Can I schedule a future-dated transfer and set-up standing instructions?

    Yes. Future-dated transactions and standing instructions are available for:

    • Interbank GIRO (IBG) Transfers
    • Own Account Transfers
    • Within Bank Transfers

    DUITNOW

    What is DuitNow?

    Initiated by PayNet, DuitNow is a new way to transfer funds instantly and securely within participating banks in Malaysia by using their DuitNow ID such as your registered mobile number, National Registration Identity Card Number (NRIC), Police / Military ID, Passport Number or Business Registration Number (for Corporate Users). Each DuitNow ID will be linked to one of your chosen accounts.
    There are 2 types of DuitNow transfers:

    • DuitNow to Proxy
    • DuitNow to Account (replaced the old Inter Bank Fund Transfer (IBFT)).

    Why use DuitNow?

    • Available 24/7.
    • Transfers are easy, instant and secure.
    • You no longer have to share your bank or account number to receive payments. Just share your registered DuitNow ID (i.e.: Mobile Number).

    Can I register my DuitNow IDs with different banks?

    Yes. However, once a DuitNow ID is registered to a bank, the same DuitNow ID cannot be used for other banks; one DuitNow ID belongs to only one bank. You can transfer your DuitNow ID to the bank of your choice as the receiving account.

    Which accounts are acceptable for DuitNow?

    You are able to choose your preferred alrajhi bank Malaysia’s Current or Savings Account to be linked with your registered DuitNow ID.

    Can I link my joint account for DuitNow?

    Yes, you can. As long as it is a Current or Savings account.

    I am not a citizen of Malaysia and I do not own a National Registration Identity Card Number (NRIC). Can I still register for DuitNow?

    Yes, you can still register using your passport number as your DuitNow ID.

    When will I be able to use the DuitNow ID?

    Once you have received a successful notification message upon registration.

    How do I register for a DuitNow ID?

    You can register for DuitNow services at alrajhi@24seven.

    Step 1: Navigate to "Payments & Transfers" after logging in.
    Step 2: Select "DuitNow to Proxy Registration & Maintenance".
    Step 3: Click or tap on "DUITNOW TO PROXY REGISTRATION".
    Step 4: Select your desired DuitNow ID (i.e.: Mobile Number or NRIC) and select the "Receiving Account", agree to the Terms and Conditions and click or tap on "NEXT".
    Step 5: Enter your SMS OTP or if you receive a push notification, tap Approve to complete the registration process.

    Can I schedule a future-dated and recurring transfer with DuitNow?

    DuitNow is an instant (real time) payment platform. Thus, no future-dated or standing instruction transactions are available with DuitNow.

    What are the maintenance activities which I can do on my DuitNow ID in alrajhi@24seven?

    There are 4 kinds of DuitNow ID maintenance activities available:

    • Activate / De-activating DuitNow ID
    • Update Receiving Account
    • De-register DuitNow ID

    How do I update my DuitNow ID?

    Step 1: Navigate to "Payments & Transfers" after logging in.
    Step 2: Select "DuitNow to Proxy Registration & Maintenance".
    Step 3: Click or tap on your displayed DuitNow ID.
    Step 4: Click or tap on "UPDATE".
    Step 5: Update your preferred receiving account at the "Receiving Account" field.
    Step 6: Click or tap "PROCEED".
    Step 7: Click or tap "APPROVE" or enter the SMS OTP sent to your mobile number and click "SUBMIT".

    Do I need to register for DuitNow to transfer to my beneficiary?

    No. To transfer funds via DuitNow, you do not need to register for DuitNow.

    Are there any transaction fees for DuitNow?

    No fees are charged for consumers and small medium enterprises for transfers up to RM5,000.

    However, there are some other charges as listed below:

    DuitNow - Instant Transfer / Proxy RM0.50 for transfers above RM5,000

    Is it compulsory to register and use DuitNow?

    No. You may opt to use the current IBG services or DuitNow - Instant Transfer (replacing Inter Bank Fund Transfer (IBFT)) to transfer and receive payments.

    If my current mobile number is already registered with another bank for DuitNow, will I be able to use the same mobile number for my alrajhi bank Malaysia account?

    No. You may use another type of DuitNow ID, such as your NRIC to register for DuitNow with us. If you still wish to have your current mobile number as your DuitNow ID with alrajhi bank Malaysia, then you must deregister your current mobile number with the other bank and then register the same mobile number with us.

    Will I be able to use the DuitNow service right away after I have transferred banks?

    Yes, the change is immediate.

    Do I need an OTP for DuitNow transfer?

    Yes, you will need one if you are transferring to a new person or if you are not registered with Secure@24seven.

    Will DuitNow transactions appear on my bank statements?

    Yes, DuitNow transactions will be displayed in your statement.

    What is the daily transaction limit for DuitNow transfers?

    The current limit for DuitNow transfers is RM50,000.00 per day for Malaysians and RM10,000.00 per day for non-Malaysians. You can also opt for a lower limit by changing it in alrajhi@24seven.

    What do I do if my recipient claims he/she did not receive the transfer/funds?

    You may get in touch with our Contact Centre at +60323326000 or customersupport@alrajhibank.com.my. Or, you may also call or walk into your nearest alrajhi bank Malaysia branch for enquiries and disputes during banking hours.

    Will there be a notification if I receive DuitNow transfers from my sender?

    Yes, you will receive a SMS notification on your mobile number registered with the bank when you receive incoming funds to your alrajhi bank Malaysia accounts.
